RoboForm has a long history of one-time purchase licenses, and while it has shifted toward subscriptions, that legacy means it treats pricing seriously rather than nickel-and-diming.

RoboForm works across Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, and all major browsers. Autofill and form capture are quick. The bookmark manager and application login support are nice touches. The honest truth, though, is that the interface feels like it's from an earlier era. It's functional and clear, just not modern or pretty.

The Honest Trade-offs

The dated design is the obvious weakness. New users coming from 1Password or NordPass will notice immediately. Some advanced features feel bolted on rather than integrated. Passkey support arrived later than at rivals. And while RoboForm is secure, it doesn't carry the long certification list that Keeper does, so compliance-heavy enterprises may look elsewhere.
