Where It Fits

Gemini is the best AI assistant for the Google ecosystem. Outside that ecosystem, it's a solid but not exceptional general-purpose chatbot. The model is improving fast - Google has the talent and compute to close gaps - but right now, Claude writes better and ChatGPT has a richer feature set.
